Paint Primer
There are numerous paint primer products to suit a variety of materials. Each one does a different job so you need to make sure you pick the right one for your priject.
Stabalizing Primer: Used to bind powdery or flaky materials.
Wood Primer: Standard solvent based primer that stops other coats from soaking in.
Acrylic Wood Primer: Past-drying water based primer. Some types can be used for undercoating.
Aluminium Wood Primer: Used to seal oily hardwoods and resinous softwoods. It will also cover creosote.
General-purpose Primer: Seals porous building materials and covers patchy walls ad ceilings.
Metal Primers: Essential to prevent corrosion in metals and to provide a key for paint. Special rust-inhibitive primers treat rust and prevent its recurrence.
Stain Sealer: Permanently seals problem stains such as nicotine, water, soot, crayon, lipstick and ballpoint pen.
Panel-system Primer: Provides better adhesion for masonry paints applied to building boards.
